The Reform Manager
Greetings!
The PNP reform initiatives under the umbrella of the Integrated
Transformation Program are based on the findings and recommendations of
the PNP Reform Commission Report; the GOP-UNDP Study on Transforming
the PNP; and the PNP Transformation Plan.
The ITP aims to address organizational and
systemic dysfunctions; improve morale and welfare of personnel; and
strengthen the law enforcement capability of the police.
We are now in the second year of its
implementation and we are seeing the fruits of our labor with the
initial success of key projects like: Model Police Station Project;
Pulis Kalinga Special Housing Project; Upgrading of PNP Crime
Laboratory; and the upcoming Health Care System Project.
For the next ten years or more, we are
committed to the realization of its goal - to provide our Filipino
people with a capable, credible and effective police service.
I enjoin everyone to take part in this worthy endeavor and help us achieve our goal.
